  • Who are you?
Frame Your Day is the trading name of Frame Your Day Ltd, company registration number 15748012 in England and Wales, with our registered trading address at 11 Southways, Stubbington, PO14 2AG.
  • How does Frame Your Day work?
It's very straightforward. You order our video package through our website and we send you our 4K cameras a few days before the wedding (along with some instructions and tips to get you started). Your loved ones then capture your big day; from getting ready in the morning to hitting the dance floor in the evening, and everything in between. Once you've recovered, you return the cameras to us and we professionally edit the footage into a beautiful full length wedding video and a highlights reel you can post to social media!
  • How will you know when my 'advised wedding date' is?
When you place a booking request, you'll be asked to select your wedding date. Please make sure you pick the exact date, as we work on short turnaround times.
  • How do I pay for my booking?
To secure your booking, we ask for an upfront deposit of £150. The remaining balance will be invoiced via email 6 weeks prior to your advised wedding date, and we'll include a convenient payment link. If you wish to pay the remaining balance early, simply drop our customer service team a message, and we'll be happy to assist you.
  • Will I receive a contract of hire?
Yes, you'll need to read and accept our Equipment Hire Agreement before you submit your booking. We'll provide you with a copy of these again once we've accepted and confirmed your booking. You can read our Equipment Hire Agreement by clicking here.
  • Can I cancel my order?
Our full cancellation policy can be viewed by clicking here. Please contact our customer service team if you'd like to request a refund. If you wish to cancel your order and your wedding is more than 6 months from the date of cancellation, we will issue you a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations between 6 months and 6 weeks prior to the date of your wedding, we offer a 50% refund of your deposit amount. Cancellations less than 6 weeks prior to your wedding, will unfortunately mean we are unable to return your deposit. If you need to reschedule, please reach out to our customer service team and we'll see what we can do.
  • We're having our wedding abroad, can I take the cameras away with me?
Unfortunately not at the moment, currently our services are only available for weddings taking place in the UK mainland. Do check back though, as we're looking to introduce destination wedding camera solutions soon.
  • When will I receive the cameras?
All orders are shipped using DPD Next Day and we will provide you with tracking via email, once we've dispatched your order. You can expect to receive the cameras four days prior to your wedding, giving you time to check them over.
  • Do you ship overseas?
Unfortunately not, our camera hire and editing service is only available to those in the UK.
  • What are the cameras like?
The cameras we use are DJI Osmo Pocket 3, which record in stunning 4K and feature a large 1-inch sensor for better low-light performance and higher resolution, enhanced stabilization for smoother footage, longer battery life for extended shooting, and a 2-inch touchscreen for clear and convenient framing of your shots!
  • Are the cameras easy to use?
Yes! - Our DJI Osmo Pocket 3 cameras are very easy to use. We'll send them out to you set up and ready to go - all you have to do, is turn them on, point and press record! We've previously found that allocating filming responsibilities to certain guests works really well for making sure you get all the best bits. We've got a whole page of hints and tips to capturing fantastic footage on the day - we would highly recommending that you and your guests read through these prior to your wedding. Read our hints and tips by clicking here
  • Do the cameras record sound?
They certainly do, as well as being 4K, the Pocket captures audio in stereo, using a built-in three-mic array. We will always include the ceremony and speeches in your full length video, assuming that they have been captured. When recording, to ensure you get the best quality audio (and not granny blowing her nose), we recommend making sure the camera is positioned close to the action, so try not to film from across the room. If you're wedding ceremony is outside, we recommend hiring our portable audio recorder. The device can be placed next to bride and groom and vastly improves outdoor audio, which can become distorted by windy conditions.
  • How long do I have the cameras for?
We'll ship the cameras to you approximately four days before your big day. Once you've recovered, simply return them to us in the enclosed shipping bag. You'll need to return the cameras to us within 2 days of your advised wedding date, so if you're going on honeymoon straight after, please make sure you get someone to return the cameras for you.
  • Do the cameras come fully charged?
The cameras will arrive fully charged and ready to capture every moment of your special day. If the battery runs low during the festivities, no panic – we'll include a USB-C cable for a quick recharge. The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 features an improved power management system, meaning it can go from 0 to 80% battery in just 16 minutes.
  • What if I damage or lose one of the cameras?
Any damage to or loss of the equipment will need to be paid for by you, but don't let that put you off; the cameras are pretty hardy, issues of this kind are very rare and if you follow our recording guidance, you won't have any problems. Damage and total loss excesses can be found within our Equipment Hire Agreement, which can be viewed by clicking here
  • What happens if one of the cameras doesn't work?
You must check the cameras are working when you receive them. We check all devices before we send them out to you, but if you do have any issues, you must let us know within 24 hours of receiving them and we'll get a replacement sent out. Because we only send the cameras out a few days prior to your advised wedding date, after this first 24 hours has elapsed, we won't have time to get a replacement to you. The fastest way to get hold of our customer service team is via WhatsApp, and we're available 07:00-23:00 every day. You can get hold of us on +447915471997
  • When do I have to send the cameras back?
We ask you to return the cameras to us as soon as possible after your big day - you must have shipped them within two days (a Saturday wedding for example, you would need to ship the package by Monday latest) Please make sure you send back the original packaging that the devices came in, including any accessories or leaflets that came in the box. We use DPD rather than the Royal Mail, meaning the package can be dropped off at one of 10,000 Dropshop's across the UK, the vast majority of which are open every day of the week. We pay the return shipping, and we'll include a new shipping bag and the postage label in your order. You can find your closest DPD Dropshop location by clicking here.
  • How do I return the cameras after use?
We'll include a shipping bag and a new, postage paid DPD label in your order. Once you've finished celebrating your big day and it's time to return the cameras to us, simply pop everything back in the original box (including all accessories and leaflets), pop everything in the new shipping bag, affix the label and take it to your nearest DPD Dropshop. Simples! You can find your nearest DPD Dropshop location by clicking here.
  • Can I take the cameras on honeymoon?
Unfortunately not at the moment, all cameras will need to be returned to us after your big day. This is a service we are looking to introduce in the near future though, so do check back.
  • Do the cameras come with a tripod?
We don't include tripods with the hire, partly because they are quite large to ship and because most clients like to shoot naturally. Because the DJI Pocket 3 comes with 3-axis stabilisation built in, you shouldn't need a tripod to get a steady shot, but we understand you there might be occasions when you want something for filming speeches etc. For this reason, we included in your hire order a Pocket 3 handle extender, which clips to the bottom of the camera and comes with a standard 1/4-20 UNC camera screw hole. If you do have your own tripod, you'll be able to attach one of our cameras.
  • When will I get my wedding video?
We aim to turn around your videos within 10 weeks, depending on our workload, but in reality, this is usually a lot sooner.
  • What videos will I receive?
Our editing team will collate all your footage, and then turn it into three videos: Sneaky Peak - A short 30 second clip that we will share on our social media channels. Please let us know your Instagram account name during checkout, as we'll tag you as a collaborator, so it shows up on your grid! Highlights Reel - Roughly roughly 4-6 minutes long, we'll take all the best bits of your day, add some editorial magic and your choice of music, and turn it into a beautiful highlights reel, so you can cherish the memories forever. Full Length - We'll piece together your day in a full length video, so you can enjoy those speeches all over again! The highlights reel and full length movie will be delivered digitally through our partner VidFlow, where you'll be able to download the videos to your hard drive or memory stick.
  • How much footage can I record?
The cameras come preinstalled with 128GB micro-SD cards, which equates to approximately 3 hours worth of 4K footage per camera; plenty of storage for filming your big day.
  • Can I watch the videos online?
Yes, you'll be able to stream the final product through our delivery partner VidFlow when we send the videos across to you. You can also download them for offline viewing.
  • How long do you hold on to my videos?
Videos are stored on our local server and on VidFlow for one year from the date of digital delivery. After then, files will be permanently deleted, so please make sure you download and save the files to your computer, hard drive or memory stick. We're unable to retrieve files once they have been deleted.
  • How long will my videos be?
This is down to you and your guests! The more footage you can capture, the better your final video will be. If the footage is limited, the final video will be shorter. What we have found works best is having a conversation with a couple of members of your wedding party before the big day, and ask if they wouldn't mind taking some filming responsibility of the key moments. That way, you're guaranteeing you capturing the most important bits, such as the vows, the speeches and you cutting the cake. Outside of these important bits, get someone to hand the cameras out and ask your guests to record themselves enjoying the day!
  • Can you make some changes to the final video?
Unfortunately not, due to the time it takes to edit your videos, we can’t make any changes once we have delivered the videos. The full length movie will contain everything that was captured by your guests, so you will still have them to keep, even if they don't appear in the highlights reel.
